In partnership with North East England Farmers’ Markets (NEEFM) the Cool Food Dudes! have been delivering cook & taste demonstrations at Farmer's Markets across the region.
The aim is to promote the wonderful diversity of produce available at the regions farmer's markets, to introduce people to new ingredients and recipes and to promote messages about healthy eating.
We select a range of ingredients from around the market, selecting ones that are at their seasonal best, and then produce a range of recipes for the market's customers, (and stallholders!), to enjoy. We usually manage to make eight or more dishes and the overwhelming response from the 'tasters' is very positive!
